MEMouna: A Moroccan Feast at the end of Passover
Tuesday, April 30 | 6:30 PM | TI-Crosstown Ste 457

Join us for MEMouna - our Memphis spin on Mimouna, a traditional Moroccan Jewish holiday celebration at the ending of Passover. This exuberant, gilded, and glittery festival is celebrated with sweets, pastries, and baked delights, featuring the crown jewel of Mimouna carby confections, the mofletta. While there are a few origin stories of Mimouna, there are some non-negotiables that our Moroccan Jewish family agrees on…there must be good food, good music, and good company (oh, and stretchy clothes)! So throw on your favorite kaftan (or whatever makes you feel dazzling while comfortable), and join us for an evening of leavened indulgence, dancing, schmoozing, and learning at MEMouna, sponsored by Diaspora: Jews of Color Tribe.
